With the basic IDriveSync version, you will get 10 GB of free storage space. If you pay a monthly subscription for one of the Pro versions, you can have up to 1000 GB of storage space. Installing the application takes only a few seconds and you won't have to make any complex settings along the way, but you have to create an online account. It can be used on Windows and Mac OS X platforms, as well as various mobile devices.

When you run the application for the first time, a wizard will ask you to target one or more folders, after which it will present and explain the available features. IDriveSync can be used in two ways. You can upload your files to the cloud and access them on other computers, on a web interface. Alternatively, you can install the application on other computers and associate them with your online account. When you upload your files, they will be copied to the other computers automatically.

To upload your files, you just need to copy them to one of the targeted folders. The main IDriveSync folder and the web interface can be accessed instantly, through the application's system tray icon. If you right click a synchronized file or folder, you will find new options, for accessing the data on the web interface, sharing it or retrieving a share link. The web interface includes everything you need to explore your files, upload, download or share them, so you don't have to install the application if you are not working on your own computer.
